Our KRAGÜ unique pieces and collections cannot be personalized. However, you can have a 100% custom-made KRAGÜ made from your own tie.

The manufacture of a KRAGÜ is a complex process that requires a lot of time and craftsmanship. A total of over half an hour of manual labour is needed to turn a tie into a KRAGÜ. The vintage tie is first tested for defects and tear resistance. If all these tests have been successfully passed, the tie is carefully opened and cut exactly to the desired dimensions. Now the previously prepared inner material, a combination of foam and laminate, is incorporated. In the next step, the belt is closed and the D-rings are sewn in. After the label has been attached, the KRAGÜ is ready and is packed in the stylish logo box.

The idea behind KRAGÜ is to produce belts in tie design or even from old ties. The name is an acronym of the two German words for tie (KRAwatte) and belt (GÜrtel).

Nowadays, two terms are probably the most common in the fashion industry: sustainability and individuality. So it was our goal to develop a product that combines exactly these two values. In the search for an easy to find material to recycle, we finally came up with ties. We were immediately enthusiastic about this material, as a high degree of individuality can be achieved.
